Abstract This dataset contains ROSETTA NAVCAM RAW DATA of the Escort Phase 4 from 17th Nov 2015 to 15th Dec 2015 when at the vicinity of target 67P/CG. This data set V1.1 supersedes the V1.0. It includes updates of the Browse images, adding of the FITS version, clarification of calibration target, document updates and resolve other minor outstanding errata.
Description Data Set history: This data set is version V1.1. The changes from the V1.0 are listed below: - Full size BROWSE images - FITS versions added in EXTRAS directory - label content consistent with comet phase datasets - target names and types revised, mainly for 'CALIBRATION' of V1.0 - ERRATA of V1.0 addressed and removed (image orientation and geometry keywords). - updated EAICD version Data Set Overview: The data from the Rosetta Navigation Camera (NavCam) was extracted by Bernhard Geiger; the data set was constructed and submitted by Maud Barthelemy on behalf of the Planetary Science Archives (PSA). The data have been observed and measured from 17th Nov 2015 to 15th Dec 2015. The frequency of the navigation slots was of one image every five hours, with interruption by manoeuvres. 128 images were taken, four slots were skipped. In addition, 269 context images were taken, which makes a total of 397 images. There is no lost or incomplete navigation images. There is no lost context images but one context image has been taken with lost rows due to SSMM slow downlink anomaly. One context image were taken with wrong time stamp due to an anomaly but this has been manually corrected from 2015-11-23T15:25:05 to 2015-11-24T09:37:21. The orbiter was flying fly-by arcs with distances ranging from 150km to 100km. In terms of phase angles, transition to terminator was executed. All images in this data set are raw and uncalibrated data taken using the imaging mode.
