Description we intend to observe the full lightcurve of vesta in the fir spectral range from 20 to 200 mu. the range from 46.1 to 178 mu will be observed by lws fixed grating scans, giving 10 spectral datapoints. the pht-filters at 20, 160 and 200 mu will extend the spectral range to the maximum of the sed and to 200 mu, where the s/n for lws becomes small.

Mission Description The Infrared Space Observatory (ISO) was the world's first true orbiting infrared observatory. Equipped with four highly-sophisticated and versatile scientific instruments, it was launched by Ariane in November 1995 and provided astronomers world-wide with a facility of unprecedented sensitivity and capabilities for a detailed exploration of the Universe at infrared wavelengths.
