Abstract We ask for valuable INTEGRAL time in order to augment our ongoing program aimed at creation of an ultra-deep extragalactic field in the direction centered on M81 galaxy. This ultra-deep field will become INTEGRALs legacy for studies of the AGN population at low X-ray fluxes, and shall provide a ground for unique synergy with upcoming sensitive all-sky surveys by eROSITA and ART-XC telescopes on-board SRG observatory. We ask for additional 1.25 Ms of observations in AO17, aiming to increase the exposure for this field by 10 Ms till the completion of the SRGs 4-yr-long all-sky survey mission.

Mission Description The INTEGRAL (International Gamma-Ray Astrophysics Laboratory) mission, launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) on October 17, 2002, was designed to study high-energy phenomena in the universe. INTEGRAL was operating until february 2025 and it was equipped with three high-energy instruments: the Imager on Board the INTEGRAL Satellite (IBIS), the Spectrometer on INTEGRAL (SPI), and the JEM-X (Joint European Monitor for X-rays). Its Optical Monitoring Camera (OMC) provided optical V-band magnitude measurements, complementing the high-energy observations.
