Abstract As a follow-up of the 2 Msec observation in AO-1 we propose a newdeep 2 Msec exposure of the field of the GalacticCenter. Observations of the GC region make the best use of the uniqueINTEGRAL capabilities and undoubtedly are the most efficient investment of its preciousobserving time. With the proposed observation, the total INTEGRALexposure of the GC field will exceed 5 Msec by the end of AO-2,doubling the number which will be achieved after completion of the AO-1. As confirmed by the preliminary analysis of the first ~0.5 Msecof the AO-1 observations, the guaranteed science includes detailedstudy of the diffuse Gamma-ray line and continuum emission, monitoring of Sgr A* and of dozens of X-ray binaries, study oftransient phenomena. Should this proposal beaccepted, the data will be made available during the proprietaryperiod to scientists of major astrophysical institutions of Russia.

Mission Description The INTEGRAL (International Gamma-Ray Astrophysics Laboratory) mission, launched by the European Space Agency (ESA) on October 17, 2002, was designed to study high-energy phenomena in the universe. INTEGRAL was operating until february 2025 and it was equipped with three high-energy instruments: the Imager on Board the INTEGRAL Satellite (IBIS), the Spectrometer on INTEGRAL (SPI), and the JEM-X (Joint European Monitor for X-rays). Its Optical Monitoring Camera (OMC) provided optical V-band magnitude measurements, complementing the high-energy observations.
