Abstract |
Level Q data represent products suitable for a large variety of purposes in astronomy, except for the core cosmology objectives of the mission. The Euclid Quick Release (Q1) is an initiative of ESA and the Euclid Consortium. Euclid Q1 data include a single visit over the Euclid Deep Fields (EDFs), covering about 53 deg2. These observations are part of the Euclid nominal survey and address legacy science.

Temporal Coverage |
Q1 data cover a selection of fields observed between 14/02/2024 (the start of the nominal survey) and 04/10/2024. |
Mission Description |
Euclid is an ESA science mission that was launched on the 1st of July 2023 to survey one third of the extragalactic sky with the aim to investigate the origin of the accelerating expansion of the Universe and the nature of dark energy, dark matter and gravity. Euclid maps the geometry of the Universe, reconstructing the evolution of large-scale structures over the past 10 billion years. |
