  • Abstract: Program created to observe TOI561.03 (16d planet). Based on Lacedelli et al. 2020, this planet should not exist, and the two transits observed by TESS would be a transit of a 25d and a 77d planet. We are planning to catch the 77d by a long visit beginning of April (around 100 orbits). However, saturday 20/02 came an observation from MUSCAT that could be compatible with the 16d planet. The next transit is March first, and we need to observe this window before deciding if we invest the 100 orbits beginning of April. TOI561 belongs normally to CHESS, but CHESS is presently locked. Therefore, this fast-track program is created in order to be able to add the OR in the scheduler the 22/02 morning.

Mission Description CHEOPS (Benz et al., https://doi.org/10.1007/s10686-020-09679-4) is a European Space Agency (ESA) mission in partnership with Switzerland with important contributions to the payload and the ground segment from Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

The satellite has a single payload comprising an ultra-high precision photometer covering the 330 - 1100 nm wavelength range in a single photometric band. Observations are made as part of the Guaranteed Time Observing Programme that is formulated by the CHEOPS Science Team, and the Guest Observers Programme through which the Community at large can apply for CHEOPS time.
